Bangladesh System Administrators’ Forum (BDSAF) has organized their first Conference day program on 31st October 2015 at Daffodil International University Auditorium. Vice Chancellor of DIU Mr. Yousuf Mahbubul Islam inaugurated the program. Key Note speech was addressed by prominent IT professional & co-chair of APNIC Sumon Ahmed Sabir . Head of CSE, BUET professor Mahfuzul Islam delivered his speech as a special guest. Founder & one of the advisory member of BDSAF Jobayer Almahmud Hossain presided the first session.
Chief guest Mr. Yousuf emphasized the importance of COP (Community Of Platform) in his speech. He suggested to use social networking platform as well as regular conference to build a trusted community. He thanked BDSAF to enhance a core IT professional’s community.
Mr. Sumon Ahmed Sabir, Co-Chair of APNIC delivered his key note speech in the conference. He shared his experiences of System Administration in earlier days. According to him, System Admin should now concentrate on diversified works. He ensured all sort of cooperation with APNIC,BDNOG and SANOG necessarily if required.

Dr. Mahfuzul Islam, Head of CSE, BUET emphasized the importance of public – private relationship in IT sector. He requested to build BDSAF as a platform of continuous learning to mitigate the coming gap for IT revolution. A good community is a success factor to be aligned with government’s digital Bangladesh project. As a president of Computer Society he ensured relevant support for BDSAF in coming days.
Mr. Fakrul Alam, CTO, BDHUB drived his speech focussing on global security trend. He emphasized to enhance awareness to ensure IT security.
System Administrators have to ensure security in IT infrastructure to reduce vulnerabilities with risk assessment process.
In welcome speech, Founder & advisory member Mr. Jubayer briefed the background & journey of BDSAF as a community platform. He outline the upcoming prospects of IT infrastructure sector of Bangladesh, where system administrators can be benefited in many ways.
Other Advisory member Muhibbul Muktadir Tanim delivered his thanks giving speech mentioning BDSAF’s mission is to develop and advance the skills, exchange knowledge to grow a robust IT infrastructure of Bangladesh through a bonded community. He thanked sponsors, members & guests for their participation and alignment.
First session procession was delivered by other advisory member Ahsan Habib.
Later in daylong technical sessions, following presentations were delivered throughout the whole program.
